We are a 2 form entry primary school, for children aged 4-11 years, which has a growing and improving reputation with the local community and wider afield. Although situated in one of Bradford’s most challenging contexts our most recent Ofsted report describes us as ‘Good’ but there is a whole lot more to us than the Ofsted criteria.
Lunchtime Supervisor – Band 3, SCP 8-9 (£8.62-£8.68/hr)
Part Time: 7.5 hours weekly. Term time only
Horton Park Primary School is looking to appoint a caring and friendly Lunchtime Supervisor. You will be responsible for supervising children across the school at lunchtime, both in the dining hall and playground, leading play activities and ensuring the safety, wellbeing and good behaviour of all pupils.
Duties will include:
- Supervision of pupils in the dining hall
- Supervision of pupils in the playground and in or around the school.
- Supervising children indoor in the event of bad weather
- Playing games with the children
- Reporting incidents and accidents to the appropriate members of staff
- Supporting and implementing the school’s Behaviour Policy
- Associated ancillary duties
You must have a good understanding of caring for children. The ability to work effectively as part of a team is essential.
Catering Assistant – Band 2, SCP 6-7 (£8.50-£8.55/hr)
Part Time: 10 hours weekly. Term time only + one week and 3 days
We are currently looking to appoint a part time Catering Assistant to join our highly successful and friendly catering team at Horton Park Primary School, an Exceed Academies Trust school.
Duties will include: preparation of food, cooking of meals in accordance with menus, general kitchen/ dining room duties (for example washing-up, setting up and clearing away equipment and tables) and working under the direction of the Catering Manager. The successful applicant should have previous experience of working within a similar environment and be able to work effectively as part of a team. Basic food H&S would be an advantage.
Applicants should have a passion for customer service and be flexible – working hours may be amended at short notice. [Or staff may be requested to work additional hours at short notice]
